As one of the state's oldest counties, Robertson County has weathered many hardships and emerged strong. Our land is our heritage. We are unwilling to be bullied or charmed by corporate interests whose main goal is to get their product - electricity - to the market cheaper than the competition. Ad agencies tell them how to talk about stewardship and concern for the environment, but their record speaks louder than their spin. Our lives and the lives of our children are more important than the cost savings of building anything less than the cleanest plant.
